Welcome to RR PG for Boys and Girls (“PG”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). These Terms and Conditions govern the use of our accommodation services and your access to our online page and related services. By accessing our website and residing at RR PG, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using our services or website. If you do not agree to these terms, you should discontinue use of the website and refrain from staying at our PG.
“Alcohol and Substance Intoxication” refers to the state of being under the influence of alcohol or illegal substances, which may impair judgment and lead to dangerous or violent behavior.
“Common Areas” refers to shared spaces such as kitchens, lounges, hallways, and bathrooms that are accessible to all residents.
“Eviction” refers to the forced removal of a resident from the premises due to a violation of these Terms and Conditions.
“Guest” refers to any person who is not a resident but is allowed to visit the premises for a limited duration during designated visiting hours.
“House Rules” refers to the set of behavioral expectations applicable to all residents, as outlined in these Terms and Conditions.
“Incident” refers to any event or occurrence, including but not limited to accidents, injuries, health-related issues, or criminal activities such as suicide, self-harm, murder, attempted murder, or physical assault, that takes place on the premises of RR PG.
“Maintenance” refers to repair and upkeep services provided by RR PG to ensure the proper functioning and safety of the premises.
“Management” refers to the individuals or team responsible for overseeing the operations of RR PG, including enforcement of these Terms and Conditions.
“Negligence” refers to a failure on the part of RR PG management to exercise reasonable care in enforcing the rules, maintaining security, or ensuring the safety of residents.
“PG” refers to RR PG for Boys and Girls, including all associated premises, facilities, and services.
“Prohibited Activities” refers to any actions that are explicitly disallowed at RR PG, including but not limited to the consumption of alcohol, use of illegal substances, smoking, and any other behavior that compromises the safety and well-being of residents, as outlined in the House Rules.
“Quiet Hours” refers to the period from 10 PM to 7 AM, during which residents are expected to minimize noise and disruptions.
“Resident” refers to any individual who has been allotted accommodation at RR PG, regardless of the length of their stay.
“Rent” refers to the monthly fee paid by the resident for accommodation and related services at RR PG.
“Security Deposit” refers to the refundable amount paid by the resident at the time of booking, held as security for any damage or unpaid dues.
“Violent Crimes” refers to criminal acts such as murder, attempted murder, physical assault, or any similar unlawful actions that occur on the premises.
“Website” refers to the official online page or website maintained by RR PG.
Eligibility: The PG is open to boys and girls who are students or working professionals, aged 18 years or above.
Occupancy: Only registered occupants are allowed to stay. No guest stays are allowed without prior permission.
Proof of Identity: Occupants are required to submit valid government-issued identification at the time of registration.
Monthly Rent: The rent shall be negotiable and shall be paid monthly at the agreed date.
Security Deposit: A refundable security deposit (as agreed) is required at the time of booking. This deposit will be refunded upon vacating the premises, subject to any deductions for damages or outstanding dues.
Late Fees: A late payment fee may be applied for payments made after the due date.
Room Facilities: Rooms are furnished with basic amenities such as a bed, table, chair, TV, cupboard etc.
Common Areas: Occupants have access to common areas, including the kitchen, living room, and laundry facilities. All common areas must be kept clean and tidy.
Wi-Fi: Internet access is provided free of charge. Misuse of the internet for illegal or unethical activities is strictly prohibited.
Meals: Meal services will be available two times a day from Monday to Sunday at specified hours and three times a day on Saturdays and Sundays.
Quiet Hours: Quiet hours are observed from 10 PM to 7 AM daily. Occupants must avoid loud noises, music, or activities that disturb other residents during these hours.
Cleanliness: Rooms and common areas must be kept clean. Garbage should be disposed of in the designated bins.
Prohibited Items: The possession or use of alcohol, drugs, weapons, and any other illegal substances is strictly prohibited.
Keys: Each room is provided with two keys: one key is issued to the resident, and the other is retained by RR PG management for emergency purposes.
RR PG retains the key to each room strictly for emergency access, maintenance, or security inspections, and will only enter the room in the presence of the resident or after prior notice, unless in cases of emergency.
Visitors: Visitors are allowed only during visiting hours between 10 AM and 7 PM. No visitor is allowed to enter the room of any Residen without the Managements’ prior permission. No overnight stays are permitted except allowed by the Management.
Damage to Property: Any damage to PG property must be reported immediately. The cost of repairs or replacement due to damage caused by the occupant will be deducted from the security deposit.
Notice Period: A resident may terminate their stay by providing 30 days’ prior written notice to the management. Failure to provide such notice may result in forfeiture of the security deposit.
Immediate Termination: RR PG reserves the right to evict any resident who violates these Terms and Conditions, engages in unlawful activities, or exhibits behavior that is detrimental to the peace and security of other residents.
Vacating the PG: Upon termination of the agreement, the occupant must vacate the premises by the agreed-upon date. Failure to vacate may result in penalties.
Personal Belongings: In the event of theft, damage, or any other unlawful activity occurring within the resident’s room during their absence, RR PG will not be held liable, PROVIDED THAT the PG’s retained key was not used for any unauthorized access.
If it is determined that the PG’s retained key was used or contributed to the unauthorized entry, RR PG may be held responsible for the loss or damage caused.
General Liability: RR PG shall not be held liable for any injuries, accidents, or health-related issues that occur on the premises, including but not limited to falls, medical conditions, or other unforeseen events.
Suicide and Self-Harm: In the unfortunate event of suicide, self-harm, or other incidents of a similar nature, RR PG will not be held responsible unless it is proven that such incidents occurred due to negligence on the part of the management, such as failure to provide a safe environment or respond to emergency situations.
Criminal Activities: RR PG shall not be held liable for incidents of violence, including murder, attempted murder, or physical assault that occur on the premises, except in cases where the management’s negligence, such as inadequate security or failure to enforce House Rules, has contributed to the incident.
Alcohol and Prohibited Substance-Related Incidents:
– If a violent crime, including murder or attempted murder, occurs as a result of a resident or visitor being under the influence of alcohol, illegal substances, or other prohibited activities, RR PG shall not be held liable unless it is proven that management’s failure to enforce the prohibition of such activities, or failure to maintain safety protocols, directly contributed to the incident.
– RR PG management is obligated to take reasonable steps to prevent the consumption of alcohol and use of illegal substances on the premises. In the event that it is established that these prohibited activities were taking place with the knowledge or neglect of the management, RR PG may be held liable for any resulting violent crimes or incidents.
Resident Responsibility: Residents are expected to adhere strictly to the House Rules, including the prohibition on alcohol and illegal substances. Any breach of these rules must be reported to management promptly to maintain a safe living environment for all residents.
RR PG reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Notice of any changes will be provided to the occupants, and continued occupancy will signify acceptance of the amended terms.
Residents are expected to promptly report any issues related to maintenance, repairs, or damage to property to the management.
Repair work will be conducted during working hours, except in cases of emergency.
In case of disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions or residence at the PG, efforts will be made to resolve them amicably. If resolution cannot be reached, the matter may be escalated to local jurisdiction courts in Noida.
This agreement is governed by the laws of Uttar Pradesh, India.
